BFAD Approved Glutathione Brand Safe?

BFAD(Bureau of Food and Drugs) Registration really is needed for Philippine-based sellers/distributors of food supplements. It is in accordance with RA 3720, an act that ensures the safety and purity of food, drugs and cosmetics. However, this doesn't necessarily give a 100% assurance since BFAD examines only one (1) sample out of the thousands or millions of quantities a distributor will be selling. Therefore, there is a loophole in the system. Companies or big distributors can submit a product sample of great quality and purity to BFAD, and after the Bureau approves it, they can have the chance to manufacturer and distribute products not of equal quality from what they have submitted for analysis. This is of course for their own gain. Consumers do not have the ability to check whether the product they bought really is safe and authentic. Sure they can call BFAD for verification of the product's registration and so on, but still, it will never guarantee that what he bought is of great quality since the Bureau only has a single basis out of the thousands or millions quantities out in the market. So what is the best way then to assure that you are buying authentic and safe supplements? It's the ASSAY or the Laboratory Analysis, it is a proof that a product contains genuine and unadulterated components such as Glutathione. The ASSAY should always be updated in order to show consistency of the product's quality. It is always good to also hear the feedbacks and reviews of the users of the product in order to have an idea of what to expect and also as a reference that such product really is safe and effective.
